The Earth Rights Eco-Village Institute
The Earth Rights Eco-Village (EREV) Institute, the African office of the Earth Rights Institute, supports sustainable local development through educational programs in rural and urban eco-villages and transition towns throughout Senegal.
The EREV Institute’s unique “living and learning” approach ...
- Develops theoretical and experiential educational programs by teaching and following the principles of action research.
- Designs projects in a cross-cultural environment: connecting schools, government ministries, literacy projects, ICT training, and universities in sustainable local development.
- Researches, supports and creates programs in natural resource preservation, alternative energy, reforestation, microcredit, health, nutrition, early childcare, ecotourism, and other types of social, economic and cultural development.
